Express Entry

Ontario Provincial Nominee Program
A program through which the province of Ontario in Canada can nominate individuals with the skills and experience needed in the local labor market for permanent residence in Canada.

Spousal Sponsorship
A process in Canadian immigration where a Canadian citizen or permanent resident (the sponsor) can sponsor their spouse or common-law partner to become a permanent resident of Canada.

Labour Market Impact Assessment
A document that Canadian employers may need to obtain from the ESDC to hire a foreign worker temporarily in certain job positions.

Work Permit
An official document issued by IRCC that allows a foreign national to work legally work in Canada for a specified period.

Study Permit
A study permit is an official document issued by IRCC that allows foreign nationals to study at designated learning institutions in Canada.

Visitor Visa
A temporary authorization issued by IRCC that allows foreign nationals to enter and stay in the country for a short period of time for purposes such as tourism, visiting family or friends, attending business meetings or conferences, or medical treatment.

She practices in all areas of immigration law and is a member in good standing with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), which is the regulatory body that trains and manages Consultants in the field of Canadian immigration. Zohra Sadat holds a Graduate Diploma in Immigration and Citizenship Law from Queen’s University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Toronto.
